4 methods to remove Yahoo Toolbar
There are a couple of methods to uninstall Yahoo! Toolbar, depending which version is, what internet browser are you using, etc.
The most easy method of removing Yahoo! Toolbar is to click on that pencil from the toolbar and select the Uninstall menu command.
The second way is addressing to Firefox users only. Click Add-ons or Extensions in the Tools menu, scroll down to the Yahoo! Toolbar, click on it and click uninstall.
Third method for removing Yahoo! Toolbar is to go into Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and uninstall Yahoo! Toolbar from there.
Last method. If you have problems removing Yahoo! Toolbar you can try to remove the toolbar by using a run command. Go to Start menu and select Run. Type firefox.exe -ProfileManager and press the OK button. Select your profile and delete it. Create a New Profile by clicking that button and follow the screen instructions to create the new profile. Now you can try again to uninstall Yahoo! Toolbar, following the steps above.
Regularly Yahoo Toolbar is auto installed on the internet browser once with Yahoo messenger installation. But, out there are other installation programs trying to install these annoying toolbars, as well. So, be careful what are you installing next time and take your time reading carefully what the installation’s windows says.

Good post.
I find that not only do toolbars offer little for convenience or usefulness, but many users do not use them at all and find them annoying. They simply don’t know how to uninstall them.
Whenever I get a call about a slow computer, I always check for malware and start uninstalling their 5+ toolbars. I’ve seen some less popular (and perhaps poorly written and tested) toolbars cause serious performance and stability problems.
Most toolbars can can uninstalled using method 3. Add/Remove/Uninstall Program
