Comments on: Change font size in a PDF reader iPhone application

I turned on my ipod touch and the font was almost double ( maybe all caps can’t remember) I was surprised but it was a bit too big.

When i went into settings and changed only the font to blackboard and now the font size is normal but not double.

There must be a way to toggle the font but sure would appreciate to know how todo it

@Pierre,
first of all you have to upload the PDFs to your iPhone from within Stanza desktop.

After you opened the PDF with your Stanza iPhone app go to Settings / Font and Font size. You can also can change the background of the page, font color and style.

Hey guys,

I just got stanza and it looks really cool.

However, I can’t figure out how to change the font size on previously downloaded pdf files I have uploaded on my Iphone.

Any suggestions?

I don’t get why people read on their iphones, it just hurts my eyes. I went and got a Sony e-book reader and haven’t looked back.

Yes, the ability to change font size & color, and to reflow text around the iPhone screen, was added in a recent update to Good Reader.

Ilya I have to disagree with you. The only PDF reader which is giving you the chance to change the font size and other font properties is Stanza. All other apps offers zooming in the pages which not the same thing. I might be wrong, maybe good reader last version is doing the same thing but for sure I can say that the version I tryied before Stanza was Good Reader and it wasn’t doing this things.

The Good Reader ($1) now also lets you change the font size and color. It has some advantages over Stanza: 1) it reflows PDFs on-the-fly — you load the original PDF onto the iPhone, and it gets reflown as it is read; 2) you can use USB to transfer PDFs to the iPhone; 3) you can switch between the reflown text view and the original PDF view — important when the PDF has images or equations that can\’t be shown in text view.
