How to find / follow people after their profile on Twitter
When I start twittering (not too long time ago) I was obsessed about the numbers and I followed (in idea of getting followed) as many twitters I can, thinking that more followers equal more users on my websites and more money into my pocket, which is wrong! The quality of your followers is much important or even critical.
The question is, how can you get only quality people to follow / to get followed on Twitter? It’s obvious a tough question. When I say quality people I am thinking about ordinary people, not sellers, internet marketers, speakers, life couch, internet entrepreneurs, in generally speaking people who are offering methods to get 10,000 Twitters followers in one week or even in one day, people who are offering you the “magic” pot to get rich over the internet, etc, etc… I don’t like this crap and I’m thinking nor you.
Having all of this thoughts in my mind, for a while, I figured out a way to find these quality twitters, who can offers you good tweets/content to read, who are really interesting to visit your website(s) and to know more about you and why not to give you the possibility to make some new and good friends on Twitter.
To get, finally, to the point, it’s about using a Twitter tool and a few good search strings. I’m not gonna sell you something. Hell no! I just discovered a good Twitter tool a couples of days ago which is giving you the possibilities to search twitters after their profiles and not after their tweets. For instance if you are a programmer and want to follow software programmers you can use Twellow with a specific search string:
“programmer” -”Social Networking” -”Marketing” -”Success” -”Life Coach” -”Marketeer” -”speaker” -”marketer” -”entrepreneur”
Let me explain that string. In this way you’ll find programmers, except that ones (see that “-” in front of some keywords) who are doing “Social Networking”, “Marketing” , who are a “Life Coach”, “Marketeer”, “speaker”, “marketer” or an “entrepreneur” or all of those who are going make from you life a “Success”… What I think that they will not make a successfully story from your life but taking advantages on you and a couple of thousands bucks off your pocket…
So, after all, to find people which are interesting for you use a similar strings for search on Twellow and don’t forget to put “-” in front of your keywords for that unwanted results.
Another example: “photographer” -”nude” -”portraits” – the results will except all of photographers which are using into their profile these 2 words: nude and portrait. This is in idea that you don’t want to find photographers reefers to nudes and portraits and eventually they are not taking nudes/portraits pictures.

I did not tried Twello but Twadder the problem is that these programs are good but after you have 2000+ followers the programs have not really a use because the TOS from Twitter wont allow you to follow more then you are following. And if they find out that you are forcing people to follow you then it is not good for your twitter reputation I think.
it is a good thing though that Twitter restricted it to 2000.
