It’s quite an earlier Saturday morning in here and because I couldn’t sleep more, I start playing with my iPod Touch.

What I discovered it’s quite helpfully for everyone I guess. It’s about making shortcuts / icons on the screen for preferred web addresses. This means when you are accessing frequently some websites, you can create icons directly into the applications list onto your iPod Touch / iPhone screen and you can access these websites very easy and fast.

Steps:
1. open Safari Browser on your iPod Touch / iPhone
2. open your preferred website
3. tap the “+” sign on the bottom of the screen

4. tap “Add to Home Screen”

5. give it a name and press “Add”

Now you’ll have a small print screen or the website icon, as an icon into the apps list on your iPhone screen :)
Nice huh? ;)

Let’s say you have to read a 1200 pages pdf document. After page 31 you want to close the computer to give it a shut down. Of course you’ll close the document too. How can you save the page number and open it again after a while? You don’t need to memorize the page number.

There is a plugin, made in JavaScript, with this function to mark a page, to create a bookmark in a PDF doc.
The plugin that I discovered is on this page.

Usage:
Open your document in Adobe Reader. Then choose Tools -> Bookmark from the menu. “Bookmark This Page” adds the bookmark. “Go To Bookmark” sends you to the bookmark you created. It remembers which PDF document you bookmarked so it works on all of your PDFs simultaneously.
