This is a real fun stuff. Working in graphic design field you will find this tutorial very important. But this is not only for graphic designers but for everyone who wants to create their font characters. It will take a small amount of time if you have already drawing skills to design a new font. OK, let’s do it!

Press Windows key + R, it will open the run window, type: eudcedit and hit ENTER.
Now you have opened the Private Character Editor windows utility. Go to the B letter lets say, or you can start, as usual with A :) A new window will open and for now your drawing aptitude is on. Draw the letters give them a Save As, one by one, and you’ll have now a new font made by you.

To use it, go on Character Map (START / Programs / Accessories / System Tools) look for All Fonts (Private Characters) and have fun using it :)

I’m not so sure if you can use your created fonts like any others, in word editing programs like Microsoft Word but you can give it a try. If you have a Graphics tablet you can use it for designing your signature as a font, a good replacement for some graphic elements like pictures.

As you know already, there are a lot of things to do prior to speed up your PC.
We’ll talk today about <msconfig> windows utility. MSConfig is built up in windows OS so you don’t need to install any software on your pc.
Press START then run and write msconfig. Press OK.
Will pop-up a new window.
Go to the last tab, Startup and click.
You’ll see a lot of your computer programs listed there.
A big part of this programs don’t have to start when you boot the pc.
To disable them just un-check that ones you don’t want to start at the boot up. The command column it really helps to find out more details.
Be aware, a part of that programs is belongs to the operation system. If you are not so sure about some of them just let them like it was.
Have fun! :)
</msconfig>
