I tried doing homework on a Mac, but you can't anything done. I agree with you because I had to switch into windows to get anything done. Apple made their products to make consumers behave like smugs. It's a marketing trick and since majority of people around the world are stupid, they bought the idea that Mac computers are not PCs.
