“You Have Watched 72 Minutes Of Video Today”
“You have watched 72 minutes of video today. Please wait 54 minutes or click here to enjoy unlimited use of MegaVideo“.
This is the message you get after watching 72 minutes of a movie on MegaVideo. And obvious is very very annoying. But still there is a reasonable method of watching movies for unlimited time, or at least for me is working.
The method consist in using a piece of software which is hiding/changing your real IP, named HotSpot Shield. Is free and is doing pretty well the job.
All you have to do is to alternate turning ON and OFF the HotSpot Shield. In this way you will watch 72 minutes of a movie from within an IP address and after that from another IP you can continue with the rest of the movie. I could watch movies for a couple of hours yesterday using this method :)
Just to make sure the method will work you can disable the cookies for TVShack only. I’m not 100% sure that is really helping you too, but I did disable that cookies and everything is fine.

Actually is megavideo not tvshack
Cipa, I’ve been modified, thanks for correcting me :P
Another solution is wait until the video loads 10% and then unplug from the internet. Yes, better if you download it… but works on megavideo, and you dont need to waste hard disk space.
Important, dont forget set work without internet connection after unplug and load 100%.
Great trick! I’ve used Hot Spot Shield recently for better security while using public wifi. But I didn’t think of using it for megavideo. Thank you.
Excuse the language, but doesn’t this load like shit? I have used proxies before, it usually takes a lot for a video to view with them.
Thank you for the inspiration nonetheless.
After I clicked on the circle (the 72 minute limit) I received a blue screen – it told me that I was out of memory and shut my laptop down. When I rebooted it I received another blue screen that said that my physical memory had been dumped and that my system.ini file was corrupted. I rebooted again and was able to restore my Windows files, but then I lost my Norton Anti Virus. After my next reboot I lost my Cisco Air Connect, and lost the ability to connect to the internet. Now the PC is going to go to the “Geek Squad” to see if they can fix it.
